track map trouble

Postby MAC Racing » Wed Jul 18, 2007 2:48 am

I recently downloaded the latest analysis software from the website. I updated and reflashed the DL1 with a file sent to me by Race tech USA. It was recommended that I update the software at the same time. Since then the track maps are incorrect. With both old and new data. Each lap overlaps just off the lap before. Some of the laps will cut all the way across the track. I tried to redownload the software and it did not fix the problem. The software I was using prior was from 2005 and I still had a copy on my work computer. I replaced the latest with this and the problem is gone.
Any idea on the problem
Thank You
Mat

Check that your "analysis options" & "vehicle options" (both under the Data file menu) are set the same in the new program.

In "Data" => "Analysis Options"
In the tab "Mapping":

uncheck "Check GPS data for speed/positionnal consistancy"

This worked for me.

See ya.

Thanks for the help. I have not been to the track for a while so haven't worked with the DL1 untill this weekend. Switching the GPS data accuracy box fixed the track map.
Thanks again
Mat
