I have a Dash2 display connected to a Syvecs ECU. The Dash2 receives all it's info from the ECU via a CAN interface module.
Whilst in use the display seems to lose its connection briefly so gives incorrect readouts of various parameters. I have also noticed the serial symbol is randomly going on/off.
I haven't yet checked all the connections but will be over the weekend, everything is soldered so can't see this being an issue.
Just curious if anybody has had a similar issues and what the cause was.
Thanks
Steve
Dash2 loses data signal from ECU
Support
Hello,
I recommend you connect the PC using the lite monitor program instead of the DASH.
You will be able to see all the data from the syvecs and then if you watch the data for some time checking the samples are continually updating.
If you see the data samples stopping then you know it is on the ECU/interface side if they dont then you know it is on the DASH side.
Please try this and let me know and i will figure out the next thing to try.
Kind regards,
