DTA S80Pro and Dash2

I'll ask in here, as the other post didnt get any response.
Ive bought a used Dash2, and want to hook it up to my DTA via CAN. Last time I asked...RT had never done this before.
Has anyone now ? Is it easy to configure ? I dont want to use serial, as I want to be able to use the laptop for tuning etc, and have the Dash active at the same time.
How does the CAN adaptor hook up to the Dash2 ? via the serial lead ? other ?
