Ticket # RT1247624285
Status Unresolved

Message
1 week, 5 days Hi, I just go the DL1 and Dash3 and the ECU interface, I
have a hondata kpro unit, but my question how to I connect
the ECU interface to the Kpro? I\'ve looked around the
knowledge board and forum but no luck, I\'m looking at the
ECU interface and all I see is Serial In, Serial Out, ECU
and 12V+ and Common, Do I splice the ECU connector? or use
the gray serial cable and cut that into pieces? and connect
pin 2 wire to the E24 Wire for the K-pro. Am I missing
something here? I\'m totally confused. Thank You,

I still need help... Al told me on July27 that I can run the Interface by connecting Pin 2 and Gnd of serial in, but i still am not getting any kind of reading or data. I know that I have to set the Hondata Kpro multiplex to 9600 bit/s and I know that I have to connect to E24 of Kpro, and I know that I have ground, and I have DL-1 configuration set to decode serial data. What I'm not sure if this ecu interface is flashed or if the unit is working right... I just confused.. and questioning should I had ever bought the ECU interface... and support seems lacking...... or at least limited. Any help would be grateful, thanks

You're not alone: http://www.race-technology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1523

How do you know it's E24 on the ECU? I have the K20 Electrical Troubleshooting Manual here and E24 is "SEFMJ", the multiplexer data. I'm surprised all the system data would go out that port and not the OBD2 connector. Have you tried connecting it to E23 instead? I'm in the same situation as you but it's not a huge problem yet since the car's still being built. However I do want to get this fully resolved now since I'm starting in on the electrical.

Since no resolution's been posted, I had the very same problem, and the solution: http://www.race-technology.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2079
