RPM shows too low

We have installed DL1PRO and DASH4PRO combo and can't get the RPM readings correct!
When we hit the rev limiter at 7200rpm it will only display ~3600rpm. From idle upp to 3600 it's correct, but then it won't go any higher.
We are logging the RPM signal from the ECU which gives 2 pulses/rev according to Dunnell, the engine builder.
Any ideas...

Check the pulses per revolution setting in the Vehicle Settings....

Make sure you only do 2:1 in either the DL1 or the D4, but not both. (Ask me how I know. )
