I have a VW buggy. A very nice street machine.
It has a aircooled carburated engine with a classic distributor.
No ECU, CAN-bus etc...
At this time the car has no intruments at all.
I want to build a Dash4PRO in my car in the steering wheel.
What I want to monitor
- Engine RPM (from the negative terminal of the ignition coil)
- Wheel speed
- Oil pressure (I want to program a warning when pressure is to low)
- Oil temperature
- Generator (the generator en cooling fan are on the same axle, no generator, no engine cooling...)
- Fuel level
What do I need?
I think I can make it at least work with a DL1 club, because I want a wheel speed sensor. The outputs form the DL1 can I use to monitor on the Dash4PRO.
Am I right?
With kind regards,
