GoPro Wiring for DL1

Postby tum53 » Fri Aug 16, 2013 12:14 pm

Can I have the wiring diagram for the GoPro lead please. I already have a charging box for my GoPro and I would like to make a new lead to charge the Gopro, as well as using the DL1 to auto-start.

Thanks Andrew

Hello,

Do you mean the connection numbers inside the GoPro connector?

What is the charging box you have? We are thinking about integrating this into the DL1.

Kind regards,

Hi

Yes the connection numbers inside the GoPro. I usually short pin 12 to pin 1 (gnd) for remote start, but I didn't know if your lead was wired differently.

The remote start/stop and charging box is one I made. I use a 12v - 5v converter from a radio control model shop, with an isolation switch and a LED.

Hello,

We use pin 12 and one of the ground pins. The DL1 output a pulse at the start of logging to switch it on and pulse at the end to switch it off.

Which GoPro do you have?

Are you able to charge and record at the same time?

Kind regards,

hi Athos, we need to produce release 101 for Linux, but I donґt have a Linux machine, can you make it from the github repo?
