I have an old style (Blue Driver) Universal OBDII Interface connected to a 2002 Elise (Rover engine). When tested on the RT Live Monitor using the hardware connection in fig. 4.6 of the manual, no data was shows. Despite the ignition being switched on the LED status light flashes red about every 10 seconds, (waiting for the ignition to be switched on status). The vehicle ODB port works fine with a bluetooth OBD reader. Is this a interface hardware or problem, or can it be solved with a re-flash?
Thanks

Re: Universal ODBII Interface red light flashing.
I would suggest trying on other vehicles if you have access to others. Also try plugging the OBDII interface in to the vehicle when the engine is running.

What was the outcome of this? Did "Chippy" manage to get his dash working with the Universal OBDII Interface? As it would be nice to see if people actully got to the bottom of their problems.
