Universal OBDII adapter Setup with DL1 Pro

Hi All

Please can you help.

I am having trouble setting up my DL1 Pro / Dash4Pro with Universal OBDII adapter. The online help for this is either very difficult to find or non-existent..

I have updated the firmware on my DL1 Pro...
What settings do I need to change to get the OBD adapter to speak to the DL1 Pro?

I also have a Dash4Pro with 6.0.12 Firmware
How do I update the firmware without a serial port, also, where do I find the Firmware files?
