I've emailed you and await seeing your data in return.

One thing I find odd, though, from your other post, is that the throttle reading maxes out at 5.5V even though it's being fed rom a regulated 5V supply. Something is odd for sure.

Where are you located?

Thank you for your fast answer. Everything seems to work normally now.. :D

Strangely enough , it was giving the mentioned problems with two sensors: the pedal movement Sensor and the on/off brake. When we added the RPM sensor, to our big surprise everything seems to work !!

Thanks again for your feedback.

BTW.- I am in Spain..

RPM output on a 2003 GT3 Porsche

Postby Boquerón » Thu Feb 14, 2008 2:54 pm

Some interesting question. Without aby doubt, on a 2003 GT3 Porsche the RPM signal can be taken from pin #9 of the OBDII and Ground from #4.

This has worked beautifully for me. :D

Sounds as if there must have been some kind of a problem with the grounding??

Anyway, glad it's all working now, and thanks for the tip re finding the RPM signal on the Porsche!
