That will be your problem then.

Check the quality of your earth - not just between sensor and DL1, but also between DL1 and chassis, and between chassis and battery (or however you have wired it up).

Then try the sensors again.

What equation are you using? I don't really know the Dash2, I just use equations in Analysis, but I would assume there are presets in the Dash2 configuration.

If that is still giving funny values, have you tried using a manual equation? They are on the website or the help files if you don't have them.

If manual works whilst preset doesn't then you might need to update a file somewhere, and it becomes too complicated for me.

i have used the DASH 2 software, it has an option for the standard sensors supplied by RT, im not sure what else to try! i have check all wiring used other dash 2 tried different sensors

temps are ranging from 136-137

oil pressure at -18.7 ish

i think this might be the default reading for when the sensor is unplugged?

i have the three red wires going to the 5V ref wire, ( getting 5v's now )

earthed all black wires

signal wires going to A inputs on the dash two ( green/yellow blue and pink i think)

on the dash 2 software when selecting the inputs do i use the dash 2 analog inputs or normall analog?

thanks

Hi Raba,

Are you using a DL1 or just the Dash 2 if Dash 2 only I think you have to use the Dash2 analogue channels

Fixed it! Had stuck the red wire in the wrong hole (one above the +5v output) - D'Oh
