DL1 does not read rpm above 8000revs

I am using dash 2 with DL1 with honda s2000 f20c engine and i cannot read using dl1 revs over 8000revs in run file but the tachometer shows 9000without any problems. i get tacho input for dash 2 from dl1 so i have no idea what is wrong.

Go to variable manager for rpm, and you will find that the maximum is set to 8000. Set it to 10000, and you will have no more problems.
