Turbo Boost Sensor

Postby m3driver » Thu Sep 28, 2006 4:09 pm

I'm looking for a sensor to use in a turbo application. Boost pressure will be fairly high and I'd like a sensor that goes to 5 bar. Does anyone know of a sensor I could use that would be compatible with a DL1?

thanks

Marco

G'day Marco,

For engine mapping, we use the Honeywell/TI units. There are two models
a) 5 bar absolute, which means and output range of 4 bar pressure and full vacuum.
b) 0-100psi - pressure only

If you need one, write directly to me - sales@mmsport.com.au

Cheers, Daniel

Yes but - application was in a BMW 335d race car that BMW did not want me hacking into their harness.
