For fuel level you want strong filtering.

Smooth over the maximum... 100

Maximum rate of change is in units per sample. The DASH2 samples the analogue channels at 30 times per second (30Hz) If the data is coming in from a DL1 the default is 5 per second but can be configured upto 100 times per second.

Typically you want the fuel to change about 2 litres per second so it gets to the correct reading quickly when you switch it on to check.

so... 2/30= 0.6667

Kind regards,
K

Uh - poking at this, but that's good info - should be put into the knowledge base.

I didn't know the dash samples at 30hz. I might have missed it, but I've looked and didn't find it.
