Standard Analog Sensor issues

I have wired up my DASH2PRO with the Race Technology supplied sensors. I have water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure.

On the read out, water and oil temps are reading 257 degrees F and oil pressure reads -7 PSI at initial start up. The data does change, telling me the senders are "working", but the display is way off on all 3.

Also, my tach is showing a 5K RPM idle. It also changes with throttle input, but the initial setting is way off.

Any suggestions?

I would start by checking the wiring on the sensors. If you have a multimeter check that you have 5v on the sensor supply wire and check that the ground wire is connected correctly. Measure the voltage on the sensor wire where it goes in to the display.
For the tacho, check the setting for the number of pulses per revolution is correct for your ignition system.

Thank you. Will put a meter on it all tomorrow.

Got the water temp, oil temp and tach working correctly. I cannot get the oil pressure.

I have all the values for my oil pressure sender but the software is telling me I can't use "advanced" options. My DASH2PRO was purchased with the following:

Race Technology DASH2 Pro
-extra input/outputs
-PWM outputs
-CAN Receive 15 channels
-GoPro Cable/Video License
Water/Oil Temp, 1/8" NPT, 3m cable (qty 2)
Water/Oil Temp, 1/8" NPT, 4m cable

It looks like, somehow, the software isn't seeing the additional licensing.

Any advice?

Please save your configuration file and email it over to me with the sensor details. I'll take a look for you.

Hi Darbyfam,
Can you pls tell me what you fixed for the coolant sensor. I have the same 257 degree temp at startup and I’m trying to figure it out.
Thanks
