DASH 3 - loading new layout to device

Postby MadMarx » Sat May 24, 2014 6:46 pm

Hi,

I have a layout for a DASH 3 on an other car.
I bought a 2nd system for my new race car and want to load the DASH.HEX with the video4 device to the DASH3.

It won't take the layout.

One time it said "Programming" but no change to the factory layout.

And It won't get in the Programming mode.

Where is the trick?

Cheers
Chris

The main one here is that if you have an ECU interface or other item connected as well it won't work. You need to have the DASH3 connected directly to the VIDEO4.

I have 3 devices:
DASH3
DL1
VIDEO4
I tried to connect the DASH directly to the Video4 but the screen remains dead on the start.
It only works if I connect all 3 devices with that split cable.

Plug your DASH3 directly in to your data logger and put the file on the card for the data logger.
