V7 'Final' safe to install alongside V6?

V7 'Final' safe to install alongside V6?

Can the release version of V.7 be installed alongside of V.6, without upsetting the operation of V.6.
I remember there were some issues with some of the later Beta versions.

It doesn't look like it. If V7 is installed, you'll get an error when you try and open V6.

I just downloaded 7.1.28, mapping is working OK for me.

At the moment, no, at least it doesn't work on my PC. Installing 7 disables 6 and vice versa. I'll check and see if that will change, although I suppose it becomes less of a nuisance as 6 fades out.

Ok, let me ask it another way.
Is there anything in V6 (anything, since I haven't explored every option), that was downgraded, de-implemented, disabled or significantly altered in a way that makes V7 *not* an easy choice?

Well, I use the software a lot and I always use V7 if that helps. Every once in a while something crops up in V7 that was OK in 6, but that's always going to be the case I think.
