Is it a hardware or software problem

Postby pacosnik » Fri Sep 17, 2010 11:32 pm

Is this update compatible with DL1 MK2 6G accelerometer ? Maybe I made a mistake when install this version on my logger. Air, water and oil temperature sensors connected to A1-A3 reported impossible values .
I use DL1 MK2 6G & Dash2. When sensors is connected to Dash2 everyting is fine but in this case can't data logging this chanel.

Regards

Sensor: BOSCH Air temp, Water temp, OIL temp (part number from drop menu on Dash2 configurator)
reference supply:5V
config formula: from drop menu
Pull up resistor: 1k

All this work fine on Dash2 and reading is correct but when sensors is connected to DL1 all readings is wrong.

All data from 8 analog channel is definatly wrong. If voltage on channel is more then 600mV data is wrong. I checked this several times.

Believe me I am really disappointed from support center. What is the meaning of this forum if they do not read. I can not figure it out. I wrote an email two days ago but no response.

Hi,

I try to check the forum every few days... but it's not garanteed! It looks like the unit must have a calibration error on it's inputs.

Can you give us a call to arrange a return please? If you call tomorrow (Friday), please ask for "Dave Brown".

With regards the email you sent, I can't find anything here - very sorry if it has got overlooked.

Kind regards,

Support

nearly the same problem I have, (mine says 57V) My computers running Vista so I don't have hyperterminal!
So RaceTech what are the options to calibrate the DL1 without hyperterminal?
