How can I change resolution (e.g. HD to _FullHD) without deleting all controls?

Hi
To convert a 720p to 1080p layout...
1/ make a "dummy" 1080p layout... so blank apart from some simple text or similar, save is as "dummy.vgl"
2/ load it your 720p layout, with the option to clear the old layout
3/ load in your 1080p dummy.vgl with the option to load this "on top of the current layout"
It will expand the current 720p layout to be 1080p although the controls/graphics will need moving about to suit the increased resolution.

I have problems with "custom-dial", it doesn't work in 1080p. Can you confirm that?
Even in new, empty "1080p.vgl", load a custom-dial, and you see it partly in stripes in wrong colours - the exported video from Analysis.

Thank you for highlighting this issue, we have been able to replicate it and will have fixed this issue in the next release of the software. We have found what has caused this and can suggest a work around for you so you can continue working before the next release of the software.
When you save the overlay (.VGL) file you must have the viewing scale set to 100% when using the custom dial control. The control of the view scale is found under the "View" menu in the top left of the software, and offers 100%, 50%, and 25%.
