Sending VD4 to Youtube

Postby Joao Basso » Mon Dec 11, 2017 2:57 pm

It should be easy but the VD4 files are refused by Youtube.
I tried virtual dub but it requires codecs that I have no ideia how to get and/or install...

Is there a simple stupid-proof way of sending the VD4 to youtube?

Thanks

Using the Analysis software you can export all or just a section of the run to a YouTube compatible video format. Open the run in the Analysis software and click, File - Export as Video. A graphic overlay can be added here if not already recorded by the VIDEO4, Start and end points of the video export, the video type and quality (MPEG4 h.264 will work best for YouTube).
There is a feature to automatically upload to youtube after creating the video, but you do not need to use this. Once the video is created you can upload the MPEG4 file to youtube in the normal way.

Hello,

Worked perfectly, thank you!
I already had the overlay added and it had some things not so well done... nothing I can do now, I guess.
It is better to add overlays after, when converting the videos, for sure.
