Negative frame counts and horizontal scrolling in vid export

Postby Clive Austin » Mon Sep 30, 2013 4:50 am

In V215 of Analysis (Build file nn88). I am trying to load 720p 60fps video from a ViO PoV HD. It appears to load OK. However, when syncd in Run Manager the frame count rises rapidly (into 10s of thousands) before turning negative and starting to ramp up again. When trying to export to video this causes some very odd behavious ranging from freezing, a blank green video image with just the overlay on it and at times a king of horizontal ghost scrolling of the video frames.

Anyone else seen / fixed this?

Thanks

Clive

Hi Clive,

As discussed on email this is because the POV video reports a frame rate (FPS) of "0" and this is causing problems for our software. For now we've added some extra logic to allow you to work - but the only complete and safe solution is for POV to correct this in their file format.

Thanks

RT, Andy
