Video export overlay designer

I cannot open theis application.
I'm using version 8.5.280 of Analysis.
I woulkd like to know what I can do to get this application working.
I'm trying to design an overlay to use with my race videos.

It is rare that we see an issue similar to this. If you haven't already I would try to uninstall the current version of RT V8.5 and download a fresh version from our website,

Frankygoes,

Remember, you are using Setup_8.5.0136.exe in order to get your GoPro export to work so just re-install from that version. I am using it and the overlay designer works fine for me.

OK so now I'm using version 280. I don't know which setup file this corresponds to but I have the following in my temp file:
150
136 From your email
110
079

If I install (update) to setup 136 this will install Analysis 315.
315 will not generate the audio delay error in 29.99 FPS and it will allow the overlay designer to work ?

OK !
I'm on version 315 of Analysis and the video export works fine.

I can now also open de Video Export Layout Designer.
I can load a default layout in regular resolution.
I can also load the same in HD.

I cannot pan either of those. Not so bad in the regular resolution as it fits all on my screen. Not the case for the HD layout.

I tried changing the screen resolution of my computer but that does not make a difference.

Can this be fixed easily ?
Can I design (Modify the default GT1080HDMPH) in regular resolution and use it on top of an HD video ?

Sorry, I thought i'd answered this.

Just with regard to the inability to pan, do you see the scroll bars but they done work, or, do you not see scroll bars at all?



You can't modify a HD layout in SD as, as soon as you load the HD layout, even if you set view to SD, it will switch the view to HD.

As I said, it does work fine for me with the same software versions you have so it's nothing to do with the version.

Any issues with any other software that might use scroll bars?
Spreadsheets/Word Processors etc.

I tried to show this visualy like you did but I'm clearly not as good with screen captures.

I can see the bars and I can move them. Both vertically and horizontally but the workspace does not move.

I cannot get to the loaded GT layout at the bottom to modify it and make adjustment. Different resolution does not help.

I understand what you mean. Do you get this with other side-scrollable apps, word processing, spreadsheet, browsers etc.

Is it also the vertical scroll that doesn't function?

It's both the horizontal and the vertical.

All other applications are OK.
I don't know about other RT applications as they usually don't use sliders.
I was having this issue before. I believe this started around the time of 8.5.

It works on my 8.2 version of analysis installed on the old XP computer I take to the track. If it had the HD setup I would design the layout on that version but I understand there is no forward compatibility starting at 8.5.

Hmm, not something I've ever seen. I think there are vertical scroll bars in analysis when you have lots of sessions loaded so might be worth a quick check.

Might be worth a new post for this specific issue as others might recognise it or would be more easilly spotted by RT who may have come across if before. As your having to use an older/hybrid version of the software to get around your other issues though it might be tough to address until you can install the latest (next) release.

Scroll bars work in Analysis.
I will search and post if I can't find anything.

We have no other reports with the slider bars not working and most of the office PC are running windows 7 so it is difficult to fix. I think the best way forward is for me to connect to the computer over the internet using teamveiwer which is installed with the Race Technology package.
