Extending the Dash1 cable

I need more length on the cable. I tried a normal serial cable (or at least the one that came with my DL90) and some gender changing adapters. This apparently won't work.

Anyone know of other options? The pinouts etc?

I would also like to extend the cable on my Dash1. What are the e-help files you refer to? I checked the Analysis software help and found nothing.

The Pinouts are located in the e-help under Help Contents - Hardware - DL1- Connections.
Longer cables just need to be of the straight through type.

Generally, any serial cable EXTENSION needs to be of the straight through type. Our supplied serial cables are of the null modem type, and thus won't work as extenders.

is it possible to use the DL-90 with Dash1 ?
Can i use DL-90 with dash 2 ?

no michael DL90 is not compatable with Dash 1 or Dash two for serial data how ever you can install a dash 2 and use it stand alone.
