Just purchased Dash 2 & DL-1...now for sensors

Just purchased a DL-1 and Dash 2, now curious about what sensors I would want for my 1991 Spec Miata.

I'm looking to pull RPM's, Water Temp, and Fuel Level. Also looking for throttle position, brake position, and maybe clutch position.

Thoughts? Anyone have any experience with the selector switch for the Dash 2? I'm thinking this will be useful as I want to be able to use the Dash 2 for predictive lap timing as well.

There is a pretty deep body of work in this forum and in the Knowledge base. Plenty of data on VDO temperature and pressure senders.

The simplest solution overall is to buy RT sensors as they are plug and play (mostly).

The inexpensive, but time consuming, route is to use VDO or similar resistance based sensors and make your own pull up harness.

I use:
Cherry wheel speed sensors
Honeywell and MSI pressure senders (ebay...)
SP2 string pot for steering angle.
Home brew "one wire" temperature senders

I have buttons mounted on the dash for the menu operation.

Could you give me a link to these pressure senders.
My VDO Fuelpressure keeps on braking down.

This is the search string I use on Ebay. Normally get about ~50 or so that need to be weeded through. You will want ones that require a 5 VDC supply or a ~10-20 or so VDC supply with a signal VDC range in the 0-5 volts area for the pressure range that you want.

Oil pressure fits well inside a 0-100 psi range. Brake pressure is typically under 1,500 or 2,000 max. ~0.8g braking is about 8-900 psi for my BMW M coupe.

Is saw some of those. Butt they are the wrong thread for me.
I'm in need of M14*1.5 and cannot find the right adapter.

Autometer has adapters.

Not sure what is common in the EU, but in the US, NPT threads are pretty much standard for aftermarket senders.
