Hello,
here is - in my opinion - a bug list, it concerns the current "setup_7048.exe" = Analysis-Version 7.5.41
1. when Analysis runs, several result-windows open, and you load a raf-File, you get multiplied windows - the former result-windows were not closed - but you didn't see that, because the loaded ra is completely on top; and if you afterwards store the raf again you store this many windows and you are wondering why the reprocesing-time increase and increase and ...
2. Data/Analysis-Options/Mapping is not stored in a raf-File
3. Data/Vehicle Options/Accelerometers is not stored in a raf-File
4. variables were not stored with standard-layout:: if you have changed a variable and start the next Analysis-session with standard-layout, you work (unexspectedly) with the last change
5. Inspite of closing Data/Analysis-Options with Cancel , the program want to reprocess - but there ist nothing to reprocess
6. discrepancy "change in time" between "summery statistics" and "values table"; for example: the first shows 5,26 s the second 5,28 s fo a marked interval
7. "calculate formula from values" produce a formula with "," inspite of "." (German language? by the way the use of "," and "." is inconsistent)
8. print/cancel doesn't work, the window reapears
9. bug-fix table: it's 2010 now
Hope it helps to increase the quality - I hope it much, because I like working with it.

Please see the following comments below:
1. This is as intended, its done so you can build up layouts if you want. Under window there is a close all windows option you can use if required
2. & 3. These two are intentional
4. Layouts and variable files are different and independent, you can independently load and save them from under advanced saves and loads
5. Yes – that is true and does want updating
6. Summary statistics ignores a sample each end of the selected range, the values table doesn’t
7. This has been addressed and is included in the next build – sorry about that. Internationalisation issues are tough to handle!
8. Could you clarify this error please? not sure what you mean.
9. This has been addressed and is included in the next build – thanks! _________________ ---------------------------------------------

Hello
2+3 >intentional< makes it difficult to work with older raf-Files, because you don't know the former settings
4 then I miss a "basic settings" for my own settings like "reset to factory settings"
6 I'm curious. What's the reason for this?
8 it happens if you have choosen a xps-Printer: you can't close the "file save" window with cancel, it reappears, you have to close the whole program with the task-manager

another bug in this complex, which is really bad, because one don't realize it and work with a wrong formula.
"calculate formula from values" accepts values like 2,8 (2 comma '8') in the table. But without warning it calculates only with 2, without the decimal place, and so you get the wrong formula. To get the correct formula you have to enter 2.8 (2 point '8') only.

According to my understanding, the internationalisation bug in the use of "," and "." in the formula is addressed.
Kind regards,

7) ...and with 7.5.99 it is impossible to calculate a formula. You get error-messages without end when you complete the second value-pair in the table
old fomulas now has point and commas - but it seems it doesn't matter
Do you sometimes test your debugging?
Now I need a former stage - where can I get it? Unfortunately I deleted the downloads of former versions yesterday in good believe.

Yes - thanks for the concern, but we have people working on testing and checking almost full time these days.
Please email over you var file and I'll check it here, clearly something has got missed. Please sent it to andrew@race....
If you wish to download an older version then just manually modify the download path to the build that you want, we keep nearly all old version on the server. _________________ ---------------------------------------------

I think it has nothing to do with the var-file.
It happened in a test to build a formula for an analogue channel, not touched before.
I'll send you a hardcopy than you can see the failure.
