In previous versions, vehicle constants had the label 'CAR_##' but this has been changed in version 8 where they are now referred to as 'vehicle constant # [-]. The old notation doesn't appear to work. How should these constants be included in User Defined Variable equations, i.e what is the syntax?

On my V8, the car constants are "CAR_01" etc.

From within the variables manager, open up an equation and you will see the list of them in the middle right hand menu for selecting information for a custom equation.

I'm using the latest build 8056 and they are listed as described. However, it seems that the 'CAR' constant labels still work in the formulae so its not a problem now.
Thanks
Paul
