Hello
I got a DL1 thats aprox 2 years old.
Do I need to reflash it?
I have some problems with RPM input not working and eratic function on some channels and monitor SW.
How do I tell what firmware currently is in the DL1?

Re: Need to reflash?
To use the latest functionality (DASH1 output, etc..) and the current "DL1 Configuration" program you should flash your unit but I doubt that's the cause of your current troubles. It certianly can't hurt. Make sure you are using the latest version of v6 software too.
If you look at a data set that you have logged, you can view the firmware under the Run Manager view fo the Analysis program. The firmware version is listed about halfway through the "Run Details" area which is halfway down in the Run Manager window.

There is not yet a published firmware revision history for firmware.
V7 is very similar to V6. EXCEPT - that in some cases, DLs that were field updated to V6 have had some problems due to updater issues. The V7 updater is very reliable and does not appear to ever give similar problems.
