| Is there an infra red lap timing beacon option for club racing? Or has this got some kind of transponder? |

Hi,
When using the DL1 all the lap times are based on GPS data. When we designed the system (5+ years ago now) we intended to add a lap beacon input as well, but in fact customers have preferred the GPS route, and we've had almost no requests for other methods. GPS lap timing is convenient and accuracte, and far simple to handle at the track.
