|
|
I use the latest software (setup_7076.exe) and tried the Simulation Setup on my German Windows 7 installation with language in Analysis set to English. The decimal separator in Germany is ','.
After loading a run I let the software "Automatically update from data" for Acceleration, Braking and Cornering (in the "Enter a table of ..." section). The values have a ',' as the decimal separator. When I click on OK and then go back into the dialog "Simulation Setup" the values have changed to either 1 or 0 depending on if they where like 1,26 or 0,26 etc. I'm not sure if this is a rounding issue or an issue with the decimal separator but definitely the values change...
Is this a known issue?
Best regards,
Thomas |

Sorry - that sounds like a bug! I'll investigate but in the mean time can you work around this by manually editing the values to use a full stop as the decimal seperator please?
Kind regards,

I tried it but it's the same. It seems the digits after the decimal character are cut off:
0.2 => 0
0.4 => 0
0.6 => 0
0.8 => 0
1.0 => 1
1.2 => 1
1.4 => 1
1.6 => 1
1.8 => 1
2.0 => 2
...
Best regards,

I cannot reproduce this anymore with the latest software (setup_7080.exe) - but I just did a quick test. So this seems to be solved although it's not mentioned in the release notes.
Thanks!
