SPEEDBOX - IMU Option 

The IMU option for the SPEEDBOX improves the accuracy of the accelerometers in the unit by using accelerometers which are fully temperature compensated over the operating range of the unit, they are also calibrated for alignment offset within the IMU housing.  The housing itself is mounted in the unit using dowel pins for maximum accuracy.  In addition to the increase in accelerometer accuracy, the IMU option also adds three axis gyro sensing to give roll, pitch and yaw rate.  The gyro sensors are also calibrated through the entire operating temperature range of the unit.
