VIDEO4 Video Playback software

The VIDEO4 Video Playback software has been designed to eradicate many of the compatibility issues encountered with video files. The video format recorded by the VIDEO4 is a standard MPG file which will play on most standard players if required. The player uses our own "codecs" to ensure the video is decoded correctly and is not reliant on any additionally installed components.

The video playback software has been optimised for our video file format and as such features very fast random frame access and low CPU usage during playback. It is very simple to use and offers many features such as variable speed playback in forward and reverse, a fine frame search function, and single frame jump controls for analysing small areas of the video. Such fine control of the video can be essential for analysing what happened in a split second, and this level of control is not found on most standard players.
