Control Pane
The application supports the following control types:
- Video Source – This is used to display a second video source (other than the main video source, which occupies the full screen) in a PIP (picture in picture) form.
- Bitmap – This is used to display a static image to the user
- Simple Text – This is used to display a static text to the user
- Digital Display – This is used to display variable information in the form of a digital number
- Bar Graph – This is used to display variable information in the form of a bar graph
- Analogue Dial – This is used to display variable information in the form of an analogue dial
- Track Map – This control can be used to draw the path traversed by the vehicle on screen
A tree containing the different control types is located on the left side of the control pane. You can expand the tree to view all of the controls that belong to a particular control type. When a particular control type is selected, all of the controls that belong to it are displayed graphically on the right hand side of the pane.
Each control type has a default that cannot be edited or removed. You can also add you own custom control and reuse them in your overlay files. Follow the links below, for further information on the properties of each control
