Video license information
The video capabilities of the software depend on whether you are using Race Technology’s own VIDEO4 system and whether you have purchased the option video license.
With a VIDEO4:
- loads video instantly (no need for any format conversion)
- no syncronisation is required
- full data-by-video analysis
- full resolution video export with no extra logos etc in a variety of formats, and with automated Youtube upload
- simple and fast DVD generation from exported video or directly from original video
With a 3rd party video source, and a video license purchased from Race Technology after approximately February 2010 at a cost of £199 or $299:
- use of the media to VD4 conversion program to convert almost any input video at high speed
- ability to load in and manually synchronise video with data
- full data-by-video analysis
- full resolution video export with a small logo added in a variety of formats, and with automated Youtube upload
- DVD generation from exported video or directly from converted video
- Full 16:9 widescreen support is available
With a 3rd party video source, and a video license purchased from Race Technology before approximately February 2010 at a cost of £99 or $190:
- use of the media to VD4 conversion program to convert almost any input video at high speed
- ability to load in and manually synchronise video with data
- full data-by-video analysis
- full resolution video export with a small logo added in a variety of formats, and with automated Youtube upload
- DVD generation from exported video or directly from converted video
IMPORTANT: For older licences that were sold a the original lower price, the higher resolution 16:9 widescreen support modes are NOT available
With 3rd party video source, and no video license:
- use of the media to VD4 conversion program to convert almost any input video at high speed
- ability to load in and manually synchronise video with data
- data-by-video analysis is disabled
- 50% resolution video export with a logo added in a variety of formats, and with automated Youtube upload
- DVD generation from exported video (at the 50% resolution) or directly from converted video is possible
Note that when you purchase a video license from Race Technology you will be supplied with a file called “codes.bin” this will enable video to be used with a particular DL1. To use the license it needs to be placed in the correct directory of the installation. Typically here:
This license can be used on as many PCs as required, however it will only work with one DL1.
