Thanks for the reply. That is what I feared... :( Yeah, I'm aware of virtual Windows on Mac.

Support, any chance/plans to support Mac OS?

Honestly, I'm very surprised/disappointed there isn't a version for Mac.

No software for Macbook...?

Where can I find the Race Technology software for Mac? I only see it for Vista, Windows 7, XP, etc... Tell me it isn't so that it is not available for Mac.

Trackmap or marker file for Buttonwillow CW14 or 13

Does anyone have one or more laps of Buttonwillow configuration 14 (or 13) clockwise? I only need it to create a lap marker file. I have data but only counter clockwise, and it won't let me set markers in opposite direction... Or, even better, a run along inner and outer edge of track for a track ma...

Can you delete track markers from the DASH2?

I have set up one of the 4 buttons up to allow setting of lap markers while running the track. Is it possible to also delete track markers using the 4 DASH2 buttons? Otherwise, what do you do when you get to a new track, assuming that it maintains the track markers set with DASH2? Of course, you can...

Thanks for the confirmation - that's how I did it. I'm pretty impressed with the DASH/DL1 from an installation and configuration point of view - intuitive and pretty straightforward. One issue is the limit of 5 characters for display parameters. I understand that display space is limited, but 5 seem...

I believe they are protected to more than 12v (probably 15v), but unsure about accuracy above 12v. The multi-connector on DL1 mk2 is not exactly suitable for multiple wires at each pin (like there would be at +12 with a jumper). Though, I will just run a wire from power to an analog input - achieves...

Dash2 battery voltage display from DL1 MK2

Hi, I have a DL1 MK2 and DASH2 that I just finished installing in my race car. All analog inputs go to the DL1, and the DASH2 then gets them through the serial cable. The analog inputs are: 1. Fuel level 2. Coolant temp 3. Oil pressure 4. Oil temp (engine) 5. Oil temp (transmission) 6. Fuel pressure...

Problem solved - it is 0.70 pitch M4. I gently turned a cap head screw back and forth to clean up the threads. I would suggest that Race-Technology does this from the factory since it can easily cross-thread during the initial catch of the thread

Can you guys confirm that it is a 0.70 pitch M4? I stopped by the hardware store and M3 is definitely too small - 0.70 is the only M4 pitch they have.

Mounting holes on Dash2 - really M4?

I have fabricated my custom instrument cluster to hold the DASH2 and the buttons replacing the stock instrument cluster. I used the template provided with the DASH2 and all holes line up. However, the sheet says the mounting holes are M4, but I see no way M4s will go in. I would expect the M4s to sp...

Greg, What supply voltage are you using? 5V? and, what pull-up resistor are you using? 300 Ohm. With 5V and 300 Ohm my measured data matches your equation quite well. I was about to post a screen-print of the Excel sheet comparing plots of measured data vs. the quation above (assuming 5V and 300 Ohm...

Thanks 8)

Just last night I measured the 2258 (impedance as fcuntion of temp from 40F to 210F). I'll plot and compare to your mapping - will post the plots.

Thanks again,

Hi, Yes, I'm aware of calibration methods, but I would prefer not to have to pull sensors (not easily accessible) if someone has already done the measurements or know of spec sheets (as it appears someone has found for VDO). They are not voltage sensors, but impedance, though that is easy to deal wi...
