Analysis version 8 error message, won't load
Analysis version 8 has just started throwing up the following error message when loading, having been working fine, even with 8.5 installed at the same time: 'There was an error communicating with the external serial decoder, loading aborted'. I have tried reloading it without success. Version 8.5 l...

I sent a test file to Support some weeks ago now but I still don't have a working solution for 8.5 and I've been too busy doing other things to follow it up. I bought my video licence in December 2009 (<4years) and don't seem to have the upgrade so can it be explained how to get this and have the vi...

Analysis 8.5 video licence
Loaded Analysis 8.5 for first time. Started Run Manager to load 3rd party video file and sync to data. So far, so good. Then click 'Video' tab but video window states 'No video licence available'. I've copied over the previously used codes.bin file to the Other files folder, having renamed the exist...

Version 8 - vehicle constants
In previous versions, vehicle constants had the label 'CAR_##' but this has been changed in version 8 where they are now referred to as 'vehicle constant # [-]. The old notation doesn't appear to work. How should these constants be included in User Defined Variable equations, i.e what is the syntax?

Software update installation Analysis default settings.
I maybe missing something but every time I install the latest software update, all my previous Analysis settings are reset to factory default, including default data file paths, vehicle options and variables etc. I also have to copy across the .bin file with the video licence. Is there some way thes...

Strange analogue input behaviour at zero volts
As a cheap and cheerful way of logging braking I've simply connected the brake light switch to one of the analogue inputs. The voltage switches between zero at brakes-off to battery voltage (+12 'ish) at brakes on. The analogue input is effectively grounded by the brake lights (incandescent bulbs) w...

Analysis and Video 4 Variable Manager content differences
This follows on from a suggested improvement regarding real time lap timing for open laps. The 'time from lap' and 'time from sector' variables are in the standard variable table in Analysis but not in Video 4 config. There are other missing variables (power, torque etc) but these are the two of int...

No 0mph start data in Performance Calculation
I have a set of data recorded from a standing start down a straight and level runway. GPS coverage was excellent. I have trimmed the data so that the file starts at zero long 'g' and zero speed but cannot get the Performance Calculation table to show any times from 0mph. 10mph to any speed or even 5...
