Yep. 12V in. 5V out.

Your VDO sensor will consume a relatively high proportion of your 50mA. Check the resistances.

I bought a precision 12V-5V converter for about £7 to drive my dip tube to ensure i was well inside the RT recommended current draw.

Thanks for your reply.

An easy fix!

I have to say i've not had any problems with the Dash2 - just a lack of knowledge of the ins and outs of the product.

I'll also add i've got nothing but 100% praise for RT's customer service relating to a CAN issue i had.

Oil Pressure displaying -1

Nothing worse than slightly irritating, but maybe someone knows how to cure.

RT pressure sensor reads -1 on Dash2 with ignition on and engine not running.

0 would be preferable.

Boost pressure display on Dash2

I want to display boost on my Dash2 in positive values only, i.e. 0-20psi. I do not want negative values when the manifold is under vacuum conditions. I know this can be achieved by mounting the pressure sensor before the throttle body, however, that's not easy on my car. So, having not been able to...

Hmm.. I want to do the same but when i look @ the software there is no variable for the battery voltage. Can you explain how to do this without plugging it into a analog input channel.. IIRC, only early DL1s had a channel internally linked to battery voltage. I've connected battery +VE to channel 8...

Rate of Change and Sampling

Further to the informative answer to my sensor thread, can someone explain in a bit more detail than i can find the purpose of the two settings, and when they might be need/what problems they are sesigned to solve? I have an irritating but unimportant problem i suspect one or both of these variables...

Can you tell me how to get the fuel reading refreshing as slow as possible through the Dash2?

Thanks.

Fuel Level Sender - Dash2 or DL1?

Hi Everyone I'm installing a Dash2 and DL1 in my Noble, and believe i am the first to do so. Questions on fuel sender unit: I'm replacing the rubbish OEM float-type sender (that only works in the middle third of the tank) with a VDO tube-type sender unit. Reading on the forums, am i correct in sayin...
