64MB for definite, I only need to record 'minutes' worth of data. The DL1 only has power, earth (which goes back to the battery), and the GPS antenna connected, the power lead has an RF choke across it to supress interference. Serial number, I think its 2952 I bought it in April 2008, having upgrade...

Its running v43 firmware already. The cards are a 64MB and a 128MB, both formatted using SwisKnife for FAT. They worked at Blyton two weekends ago. If I disable pre-trigger, I wont get the full run. I need it to start from >0mph in that case and I travel >0mph when moving in the start line queue at ...

The DTA firmware detects the rotation of the barrel, and cuts the ignition automatically, with allowance for dwell etc.

Saves the need for the Geartronics black box, additional switches, and about £300 :D

Yes, the DTA S80 isn't wired in yet for flat shifts. I need to buy the dual channel sensor from Geartronics, and wire it in. The DTA is flashed with their latest firmware, so its just the wires in between that I need to complete I'm hoping that it'll cure the backlash when I change from 1st to 2nd t...

Auto start / stop

I tried auto start stop for the first time this weekend at the 3 Sisters sprint and it failed miserably. First run when I turned the DL1-Mk2 on it went crazy with all the LEDs flashing, and Windows 7 reported the card as 'unformatted' when I tried it after the run Second run, I tried another CF card...

I tried the formatted CF card again tonight. DL1 Log LED is lit when I power it up and it then goes off again. I press Log, wait a minute, press Log to stop logging, then power off the DL1 and try the CF card in my laptop. It says RT040101 for the folder name, and the file is named RUN__01 with a da...

Please state a brand of cf card and I'm more than happy to buy one from that manufacturer to prevent any further corruption. The car is static in the garage and I'm pressing the log button to stop the logging. The ecu is programmed as you show it. I can send you the map if you like. I may bring the ...

Deep joy. I flashed the CAN firmware, but the DL1 still doesn't read the data from the ECU. And now the CF card gets a folder called RT040101 written to it, and some data is stored to that folder, which the analysis software reads ok even though it doesnt contain any data from the S80 ECU. Then when...

Flashed the DL1 last night, easy enough to do. Still no data from the ECU (using the Lite monitor to display the data) but flashing the DL1 probably wiped the config file I'd previously uploaded from the CF card. I'll try creating another BIN file tonight, and see if the DL1 then starts listening to...

Cheers. It was patched by yourselves in 2008 to resolve Compact Flash card corruption errors, and I guess a lot of changes have been made since then. That could also be the reason why it wont talk to my DTA S80.

I'll have a go at re-flashing it.

Firmware version

How do I find out which firmware version is on my DL1 Mk2? The run manager shows ", using firmware version11-6. Data logged on28/08/2011 @ 09:05" when I open a run. How does this relate to the firmware versions? Do I have the latest? Similarly the CAN interface (Which I've never had workin...
