Any luck, Adam?

Right box x input + is def 0.001 Perhaps you mean "third box"? And bottom box -1 , with that config it shows 655.04 on tickover That sounds like a software bug, and we need to get the RT guys involved to find that. In essence, the input is correctly being divided by 1000 (ie, multiplied b...

Leave the -1 out and all seems fine except the extra 1bar added

Adam, I have to ask you to check again what you entered in those boxes.

"0.065" is 650 times 0.0001, not times 0.001. If you have really entered 0.001 and still get those readings, there is a definite software bug.

With the -1 it shows a figure of roughly 650.56 Without the -1 its about 0.065 On tickover 1200rpm ish Is this the screen you are using to enter the formula? Are you entering 0 in the first box, 0 in the second box, 0.001 in the third box and -1 in the last box? http://landiss.info/graphics/dash2.j...

Adam37tr wrote:If you put the -1 in it totally confuses it

Post an example of the results with and without "-1" in the last box, maybe we can observe a pattern that will lead to a fix.

The readings I get are right just in mbar not bar and also seem to have 1bar atmos Reading on top so what would I put in the boxs Cheers Adam You don't have any cubes or squares in the formula, right? So the first two boxes will have 0. You need to divide millibars by 1000, right? That window only ...

I have one, which how I know that I prefer your software<G>. We usually use it to study the wobble and weave characteristics of motorcycles.

Support wrote:Hi,

I'm not clear on the question, do you mean you've exported data from the RT analysis package, or you want to read in CSV data into the RT analysis package?

Thanks,

Support

The second -- I have data saved as CSV by a different manufacturer's data logger but I like the R-T software. Thanks!

Import CSV?

Has anyone worked out a way to import CSV files such as might be generated by other types of data logger? I have some with as many as 30,000 lines of ASCII data and frankly they choke Excel<G>!

Thank you.

I don't know which section this belongs in, but I guess "General Support" is as close as anything. Recently the icon that should indicate a message thread with messages I have not yet read has not been active. New messages appear, but not the Unread Message Icon. I remain logged in as &quo...

Which port is which? Is Port 1 the dsub? From the DL1 section of the help files: Serial Port This single connector actually connects to 2 serial ports. The first port allows access to the DL1 processor for upgrading the internal firmware and streaming data. The second serial port allows direct acce...

I'd be inclined to use hardware rather than software myself. If you're careful in resistor selection I'd choose the resistor values to set the output voltage just a little above integer levels (like 1.2 volts for first gear, 2.2 volts for second gear, etc) and then use the TRUNC function in a formu...
