Distance between 2 cars ?

hi,
how can i get distance between 2 cars for differents laps on same track but from differents runs ?
another way:
how can i calculate distance between 2 cars in a brake zone ?
distance between points where we begin to brake ?
one can brake at 100m, the other at 80m so distance is 20m between them; we only know time....? we don't know where are 80m and 100m...
I only want difference.
