DL2 Not logging

For some reason my DL2 decided to not log anymore...
i dont have any triggers set up for it, we just use the toggle to start and stop the logging.
ive tried reformatting the CF card (16FAT)
disconnected it from the power source
i have it just set up on a bench to do some testing, implementing some new sensors. im pretty sure there wasnt anything that i could have changed to make it not operate correctly.
any insights?
