Dash2 Pro and Video 4

I'm having trouble getting my Dash2 Pro (internale logger) to trigger video logging on my Video4(no gps).
It seems to work if I start them separately. But I would like the video to start automatically with the Dash2 Pro logging.
I tried triggering it by Logging Status. But it seems Logging Status is not high when the Dash2 Pro is logging internally.
And... I want predictive lap timing so I assume that means I must have the Dash2 Pro logging internally.
I can map the Start button to start logging externally, but I assume that means I will not have data logging at all.
Is this a configuration that was missed in the design? Or is there another status I can use?
Ideally I want the Video4 to be the keeper of the run files. It's just a log more convenient than syncing the dash.
