Auto start - DL1 + Video4

Hi
Apologies in advance for the numpty question!
With a DL1 and a Video4 set up, to get auto start for both data and video, do both units need to be set to auto start, or will just having auto start on the Video4 "trigger" the DL1?

The data from the DL1 is all recorded on the VIDEO4, so you only need to set the autostart on that. The DL1 won't be logging any data at all itself, but all data transmitted from the serial port on the DL1 will appear on the VIDEO4.

I have a problem getting the Video4 pro to work together with the DL1
- the V4 does not auto start, it only registrates after pushing the start/stop button
- there is no synchronisation between video and sensor data
- sensor data including GPS work all right.
Can anyone help me?
