Simple Text properties
The Simple Text Properties window will open when you choose to edit the properties of a Simple Text control.
Once the window has been opened you will be able to customize the following properties:
This is the left coordinate of the control. The number entered in this box will specify the coordinates of the left hand side of the control.
This is the top coordinate of the control. The number entered in this box will specify the coordinates of the top edge of the control.
This is the text that you wish to display on the screen. The text cannot exceed seventeen characters in length.
This allows you to specify the font size of the text. You may choose from the following three sizes:
Tiny
Small
Medium
Large
Extra large
- Only display string when (Show Text based on a value)
When this option is not selected, text that you have added to the control’s Text property is always displayed. To display the text only during the time where a variable value falls within a some minimum and maximum, select this option, then select the variable and finally select the minimum and maximum values for the variable.
