Connect to CAN output on Analog8

The CAN connection on Analog8 is available on the Serial Data in connection, This connection can be used to connect any 3rd party hardware capable of reading CAN.

To connect to this, the mating 9pin female Dtype connector is needed.

Connections

Connect CAN High from the CAN device to Pin 8 of the Serial Data in connection of Analog8
Connect CAN Low from the CAN device to Pin 1 of the Serial Data in connection of Analog8

Termination

Termination of the CAN lines is not provided on Analog8. Ensure that a 120ohm termination resistor is connected in parallel between CAN High and CAN Low, if the CAN device being used requires this.
