Frequency inputs

The Frequency Inputs Tab is presented in the following manner:

For each of the four frequency inputs there are three options:

1. You can measure the frequency of the input in Hz (number of cycles per second)
2. You can count the number of pulses on each of the inputs
3. You can measure the high and low period of the input

All of these can be enabled for each of the inputs.

However, the final option (the period measurement) does increase the CPU load and data rate considerably and it is possible this will result in dropped samples under some conditions. You should only use this when required and it is not recommended that it is always left active.
