Universal OBDII LED states
| LED State
| Meaning
| | Solid Blue
| Seen when the OBDII interface is first plugged in. The LED is solid blue while the OBDII interface is connecting to the vehicle network.
| | Blinking Red
| Vehicle network communication is established and the OBDII interface is waiting for the ignition to be switched on.
| | Solid Red
| Processing a request. Ignition on and data is being received.
| | Off
| 1. The OBDII interface is idle & awaiting a command, or
2. The OBDII interface is asleep (if the vehicle is off).
