Summary Statistics
The Summary Statistics window is accessible from the > Results > Summary Statistics or by clicking the button on the toolbar. The Summary Statistics tables are a quick and convenient way of checking the most important and interesting statistics from all the data currently loaded. The software comes configured with a number of statistics which most users will find useful, however, the table can be completely configured by the user to their specific requirements.
If you don't have a run loaded, there will be no data available. Once you have loaded a .RUN file, you will only be able to highlight an range on the track map or XY Graph to find out the statistics for that range. Once you have set a lap marker, you will also be able to select "Complete Laps" from the drop down menu and be able to view the statistics that go with the laps. Once you have set up track markers and defined sectors, you will also be able to view statistics for the sectors. The main part of the summary statistics form is made up of 2 tables:
- The first table has columns which displays the results from the best single lap, the average of all the laps loaded, and the worst lap loaded - finally you get the results from the "[best theoretical lap]". Note that the results "[best theoretical lap]" will be the same as the best single lap if only a lap marker has been added and no track markers.
- The Second tables are the results for each lap for each run loaded.
In Version 6, you can now add your own summary statistics a lot faster and easier! Too add your own, click on an empty grey box on the left, and the following dialog will pop up:
Fill in the details for the statistic you want, name it appropriately, then click OK to add the statistic to the table. If you click on an existing statistic, you can edit or overwrite it.
