ECU Mapping - Easimap 6 Software

Race Technology Ltd provide a CAN setup file for the MBE ECU mapping software - Easimap 6 upon request. Get in touch if you wish to setup CAN communication, between the MBE ECUs stated above & Race Technology CAN enabled device(s).

Open the Easimap 6 software from the desktop icon:

Load in your pre-made ECU map file. Alternatively read the map back from the ECU, to do this connect your ECU to the PC / laptop >>> power the ECU >>> on the mapping software select File >>> Load All Data From ECU.

Open the CAN Setup area from System >>> CAN Datastream >>> Setup:

Double click on Other ChipFile:

Open the CAN file Race Technology supply - MBE (Easimap 6) - Race Technology CAN Setup.ecc:

You should see the following CAN setup loaded:

Send the new CAN setup to the ECU, using the Import option, located along at the top of the window. After importing the new CAN setup, it is strongly recommended, a copy of your ECU map is saved to your PC / laptop for future use.

ECU Connections

  • Pin 8 = CAN Low
  • Pin 9 = CAN High
