VOB / ConfigureScreens

1.  VOB Screen Configuration

The VOB display is divided up into quadrants, and each quadrant can display up to 4 variables. You can edit each group of 4 variables individually. For each quadrant, the two left hand quadrants of each screen each have seven possible display styles, while the two right hand quadrants each have five possible display styles (the Long Variable and Long Bargraph are unavailable on the right hand side of the screen)

When either a Long Variable or Long Bargraph display style is selected on the left hand side, the corresponding variable on the right hand side of the same quadrant becomes unavailable, and the display style drop-box for that variable is then disabled.

1.1  Short Variable

Displays the abbreviated text label (definable on the Variable Scaling Screen) and numerical value.

1.2  Long Variable

Displays the long descriptive text label (definable on the Variable Scaling Screen), numerical value and units. Please note that channel which normally occupies the corresponding right hand quadrant of the display is now unavailable.

1.3  Short Bargraph

Displays the abbreviated text label (definable on the Variable Scaling Screen) and an autoscaling bargraph representing the numerical value of that variable.

1.4  Long Bargraph

Displays the descriptive text label (definable on the Variable Scaling Screen), an auto-scaling bargraph representing the numerical value of that variable and also the numerical value associated with that variable. Please note that channel which normally occupies the corresponding right hand quadrant of the display is now unavailable.

1.5  Date (GMT)

Displays the date according to Greenwich Mean Time in the format DD MMM YY e.g. 25 DEC 05

1.6  Time (GMT)
