Software support
As part of the standard Race Technology software, we supply a comprehensive configuration utility for the DASH5PRO which allows the user to tailor the display to meet your exact requirements. You can use the software to configure the following:
- Screens and the screen objects
- Configure analog inputs
- Configure built in ECU decoder
- RPM and Wheel speed inputs
- Configure the DASH5PRO button functions
- Shift lights
- Gear indicator
- Auto start/stop conditions and naming of files
- Alarms
- Configure message display times and the message position
- Configure analog channels as output drivers
- Enable warnings based on run time hours, power on hours, time over a certain rpm value and amount of fuel remaining etc.
- Configure CAN options to Decode and view CAN messages.
- Output CAN messages when screens are changed or buttons are pressed
- program a set of reference sector times and calculate Predictive lap time, reference sector delta and reference lap delta based on that.
- Configure the display brightness (day/night).
- What lap and sector timing information is displayed
- Configure system messages' display positions and pop up times (Information, Warning, Error, Alarms)
- Any filtering on variables
- Alarm limits on variables
- Units conversions – e.g. from volts to degrees Centigrade, in the case of a temperature sensor
